![]() So, I'm only going to complain about specifically the last one. I can honestly see both sides of the argument. Not a biiiiig fan, but not super against them either. I did watch the extended version, so maybe the third act feels really drawn out because of that. I found it okay, but not as great as it's made out to be on reddit. it’s just too drawn out, over-hyped and boring with an okay conclusion that wasn’t worth the time. Honestly, someone would have to pay me $100 to rewatch it. Not to mention it’s a slow burner (too slow, two and half hours slow), and most slow burns ive watched, whether it’s a tv show or a movie, don’t try to make me fall asleep. People say they we’re entranced or no movie can compare and I say “did we watch the same fucking film?!” so I almost envy the people that get spine tingling fear from a movie like this. It’s like people who say this only watched the original Frankenstein or some shit. People say this was horrifying, I say “did we watch the same film?” (Someone give me an example of one scary scene). The comic relief was just so unnecessary, clearly a decision to include it but it was too silly and took me out of it at times. The acting wasn’t special and in some cases just awful. What about the first half of the movie had you in awe? The whole movie had me in yawn. ![]()
